23rd International Conference "Archival Practice (Arhivska praksa) 2010"
Organized by the Archive of Tuzla Canton and the Society of archival employees of Tuzla canton on 30 September and 01 of October 2010, 23rd International Conference "Archival Practice 2010" has been opened. The event was officially opened at 9:30 h in the Crystal Hall of Hotel "Tuzla".
The conference has enormous significance for the archival profession and industry in the Tuzla Canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also for neighboring countries, therefore it garners reasonable interes of wider professional and public audience.
Papers were presented under the following themes: evaluation of archival work and the status of archives in society, protection of emerging archival materials and modern archival science.
Symposium was attended by over 300 participants and exhibitors from around 15 European countries.

Exhibition “Do not forget Srebrenica”
Exhibition "Srebrenica - do not forget" by Archives of Tuzla Canton will be installed and opened to the publicon 07.07.2010. in Celje. It is an exhibition already staged in several cities: Tuzla, Srebrenik, Banovici, Teocak, Velika KladuĊĦa, Innsbruck (Austria), Sarajevo. Is an integral part of the exhibition "The Holocaust, Genocide ..." that was made in cooperation with the Historical Archive of Sarajevo. The primary objective of the exhibition to present documents that testify to the scale of the Srebrenica genocide and introduce visitors to genocidal consequences of action aggressor against Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its setting is a continuation of successful international cooperation of Archives of Tuzla Canton with archival institutions in other countries.
